Dhaka stocks extend losses

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell for the second straight day today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the largest bourse in Bangladesh, lost 65 points, or 1 per cent, to 5,972 at 12:30 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 159 crore.

Of the securities, only 18 advanced, 341 declined, and 20 did not show any price movement.
