Asian Motorspex launches Chery Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV in Bangladesh

Asian Motorspex Ltd, the official distributor of Chery automobiles in Bangladesh, has launched the all-new Chery Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV, marking the brand's entry into the country's premium plug-in hybrid SUV segment.

The flagship model, combining luxury, performance, and eco-friendly technology, was unveiled at Chery's showroom in Tejgaon Industrial Area in the presence of Dewan Shajedur Rahman, Managing Director of Asian Motorspex Ltd; Dewan Saidur Rahman, Director; and Abu Mahmud Naser, Head of Sales, along with other senior officials.

In his keynote speech, Dewan Shajedur Rahman highlighted the strategic importance of introducing advanced hybrid mobility in Bangladesh. "As environmental awareness grows among customers, we're proud to introduce a vehicle that delivers uncompromised luxury with reduced emissions. The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV sets a new benchmark for premium SUVs in Bangladesh," he said.

Powered by a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine paired with plug-in hybrid AWD technology and an 8-speed Aisin Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT), the Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV produces 375 kW (502 BHP) and 750 N.m of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. The system offers an impressive combined range of 1,380 km.

The 7-seater SUV features a refined interior with a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD display, Sony 14-speaker surround sound, Nappa leather seats, massaging and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and heated steering wheel.

Safety is reinforced by an ANCAP-approved chassis with 85 percent high-strength steel and multiple airbags, along with advanced driver-assist technologies including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, and a 540-degree HD panoramic camera.

The exterior showcases Chery's signature "golden ratio" design language, measuring 4,810 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,741 mm in height, complemented by 20-inch polished alloy wheels and a diamond-embedded tiger-eye grille.

Each purchase includes a complimentary 22kW home fast charger, ensuring convenience for daily use. The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV comes with an 8-year / 160,000 km warranty (T&C apply) and an exclusive Buy Back facility.
