Bangladesh Supply Chain Conference 2025 concludes with record engagement and real-time insights

The conference explored how digital data, AI, and automation are transforming planning and execution across both local and global supply chains.

The Bangladesh Supply Chain Conference 2025, co-hosted by The Daily Star and Mind Mapper Bangladesh, concluded at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden with record participation from professionals representing corporates, academia, logistics providers, FMCG companies, heavy industry, telecom, banking, pharmaceuticals, and apparel sectors.

The event reaffirmed its position as the country's leading platform for the supply chain profession. Held under the theme "Digital Data Shapes the Future," the conference explored how digital data, AI, and automation are transforming planning and execution across both local and global supply chains.

The event opened with an inaugural address by Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of East West University, who stressed that successful implementation of Supply Chain 4.0 depends on people-centric approaches. Mr. Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, in his special address, pledged continued media support for the supply chain community and all initiatives that contribute to strengthening Bangladesh's economy.

Keynote sessions were delivered by Syed Shakil Ahmed, Head of AI Strategy & Development at Grameenphone Ltd., on "Supply Chain 2030: Digital, Data-Driven & Decentralized," and Ruhul Quddus Khan, CEO and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd., on "From Data to Shelf: Driving Growth through Digital Supply Chains." Ewa Wasiluk, Head of Supply Chain Operations at Syngenta CP (AMEA), presented a case spotlight on the use of AI in forecasting, routing, inventory management, and scenario planning.

Three panel discussions - Digital and Inclusive: Future-Fit Supply Chains, Talent for Future Supply Chains, and Local to Global, Global to Local: Making Bangladesh Supply Chains Future-Ready - brought together leaders from across sectors to discuss how collaboration among government, private industry, and development partners can unlock Bangladesh's full supply chain potential.

"Today's conversations moved from vision to practice — from snapshots to live signals, from isolated tools to inclusive ecosystems that bring customers, suppliers, SMEs, channel partners, and frontline teams onto the same digital rails," said Mohammad Ejazur Rahman, Managing Director of Mind Mapper Bangladesh and Regional CEO of ISCEA Asia, in his welcome and closing remarks.

Powered by Mozumder Logistics and Prime Bank, and supported by Radhuni, GPH Ispat, and A.H. Khan & Co., the conference was held in association with ISCEA as the Knowledge Partner and Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden as the Hospitality Partner. Delegates from 70 organizations attended the event, which concluded with the ISCEA Night & Certificate Ceremony 2025, celebrating professionals who achieved globally recognized ISCEA certifications—signifying Bangladesh's growing community of data-literate, future-ready supply chain leaders.
