Ruling party’s student front Bangladesh Chhatra League today engaged in a factional clash at Chittagong University causing injuries to at least two of its activists.

It all started out from a trifling matter this morning when the activists lined up to observe their 70th founding anniversary at campus, our campus correspondent reports.

Witnesses say, the altercation ensued over standing in a queue, which enlarged into a full scale scuffle, prompting police to charge to the spot and wielding batons.
