Efforts to retrieve sunken ferry Shah Amanat still going on

The ferry Shah Amanat, which tipped over at Paturia Ghat, could not be retrieved yet. Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has engaged rescue vessels Hamza and Rustam to salvage the ferry.

BIWTA chairman has announced that the sunken vehicles will be retrieved first, followed by the ferry.
