Passengers suffer due to lack of ferries at Paturia-Daulatdia route

Due to the ferry crisis, transportation on the Paturia-Daulatdia route is being disrupted. Everyday, hundreds of passengers and lorries are stuck at the dock for several hours. People who use this route have been suffering for the last 22 days.

Manikganj correspondent of The Daily Star, Zahangir Shah visited the area to find the current conditions of the Paturia-Daulatdia ferry ghat. He is sharing his experience from the location.
