Why is Dhaka-Ctg expressway cancelled?

After spending Tk 100 crore, the Dhaka-Chattogram Expressway project has been cancelled. On the other hand, a 225km long railway line will be built spending Tk 93,000 crore, which will allow one to travel between the capital and the Port City in around an hour.
