Bangladesh win the first ODI against West Indies by five wickets after a disciplined performance from the bowlers and the batsmen at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza led the charge with the ball, picking up three wickets while Mustafizur Rahman bagged three as well. Tigers faced a bit of turbulence early in their chase of West Indies' score of 195 but the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim kept his temperament to see the Tigers through to victory with a 70-ball 55.

Bangladesh sweep series 2-0 after biggest Test win
Bangladesh recorded their biggest-margin victory in Test cricket, defeating the West Indies by an innings and 184 runs. The platform was laid by the batsmen with Shakib Al Hasan, Shadman Islam, Liton Das and Mahmudullah Riyad amongst the runs.The spinners then ran rings around the West Indies batsmen as the visitors got off to another bad start in their second innings after following-on and lost the Test by an innings and 184 runs as Tigers complete 2-0 series sweep.

Classy Mahmudullah Riyad hit his third career hundred as Bangladesh crossed the 450-run mark. There was a comedy of errors as Riyad almost ran himself out while on 98 but the experienced batsman went on to complete his ton, robbing back onto the back foot and hitting Roston Chase through point for four to complete his second ton this year.
