Eight years after their re-affiliation, Dhaka University and its seven affiliated colleges have decided to sever ties.

"If our demands are not met by 4:00pm, we will announce a tougher course of action"

The fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later

The authorities of Dhaka University say the students of its seven affiliated colleges will not be issued any identity cards of the university.
