29 April marks “International Dance Day”, initiated in 1982 by the Dance Committee of ITI (International Theatre Institute) celebrating the birth anniversary of Jean-George Noverre, (1727-1810 the creator of modern ballet). The day is celebrated with high spirits in the dance community to make people aware of the value and importance of the dance.

Every year, International Dance Day is celebrated on the 29th of April, showcasing the amazing diversity and spirit of dancers all over the world.
