BNP asks EC to give ‘sheaf of paddy’ to 26 alliance candidates

BNP today requested the Election Commission (EC) to allocate its ‘sheaf of paddy’ symbol to 26 contenders for contesting in the December 30 national election.

The party today sent a letter in this regard.

The contestants are from the major opposition alliance Jatiya Oikyafront and 20-party, according to the letter signed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, reads the letter.
