Mercantile Bank opens relocated Motijheel branch

Mercantile Bank PLC has opened a relocated Motijheel branch at the Dhaka Chamber Building in the capital's Motijheel today to provide timely and superior banking services.

Taskeen Ahmed, president of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of Mercantile Bank PLC, presided over the event.

AKM Asaduzzaman Patwary, secretary general of the DCCI; Shamim Ahmed, deputy managing director of the bank; Sayed Mustaq Kader, managing director of Mask Associates (Pvt) Ltd; and Soumitra Chokraborty, chairman of Hitech Printing and Packaging Ltd, attended the event.

Md Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director and chief business officer of the bank; Md Fakhruzzaman Chowdhury, head of the Motijheel branch; and Md Aliullah, head of the branches division, among others, were also present occasion.
