Stocks inch up

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 3.4 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 6,288 at 11:20 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 246 crore.

Of the securities, 56 advanced, 106 declined and 120 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 16 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 18,557.

Of the issues, 22 rose, 19 retreated, and 20 saw no price movement.
