Odommo Youth Summit 2025 held in Dhaka

Young leaders, social innovators, development professionals, corporate representatives, and students attended the day-long event

The Odommo Youth Summit 2025 was held at BRAC Centre Inn in Dhaka, organised by Mojar School under the Odommo Bangladesh Foundation.

Young leaders, social innovators, development professionals, corporate representatives, and students attended the day-long event to discuss leadership, entrepreneurship, national development, and global citizenship. More than 250 participants from educational institutions, development organisations, and the corporate sector joined.

The summit included sessions on volunteering, youth contributions to national progress, global citizenship, leadership, and social innovation. Speakers discussed skill building, career planning, social entrepreneurship, and the role of youth in shaping Bangladesh's future.

Panellists included Md. Abdul Auwal, Founder & Managing Director, The Structural Engineers Ltd; Brigadier General A J M Fazlur Rahman (Retd), Executive Director, United Trust; Md. Sahariar Hasan Jiisun, Founder, BloodMan; Sharmin Kabir, Founder, Wreetu; Monjila Jhuma, Lawyer & Politician; Md. Abdul Quayyum, Head of Communications, UNDP Bangladesh; Alexandre Magnenat, Country Head, LP4Y; Tahsinah Ahmed, Executive Director, BYLC; Dr. K A S Murshid, Economist & Researcher; Tajdin Hassan, COO, KEERON; Kazi Md. Rushdi, Co-founder, Alfresco; Mohammad Ilmul Haque Sajib, Co-founder, Sheba.xyz; and Sohel Siraj, Founder, Kacchi Bhai. 

Founder of Mojar School Arian Arif said youth remain the strongest foundation of the nation and that supporting their creativity and leadership is vital for progress.

Participants received certificates and souvenirs, and took part in networking sessions with development organisations and corporate leaders.

The Structural Engineers Ltd served as title sponsor. Other partners included Alfresco, KEERON, Bdjobs, and Buttery Bites.

The summit also presented the Friend of Street Children Award 2025. This year's award went to Mahmudul Alam Chowdhury of Sreemangal, Moulvibazar, and was jointly presented by Alfresco and Mojar School.
