Shahad Sharif named Visual Artist of the Year at Bangladesh Achievers Awards 2025

Shahad Sharif, a rising creative entrepreneur and visual artist, has been awarded the "Visual Artist of the Year" title at the Bangladesh Achievers Awards 2025 for his contributions to art, culture, and visual communication.

Sharif, founder and CEO of Graphycity Communications, was honoured at a ceremony held recently at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Convention Center in Dhaka, according to a press release issued by the organisers.

The annual awards recognise individuals across various professions for their outstanding achievements and impact on society.

Sharif, known for his innovative approach to graphic design and branding, has built Graphycity Communications into a creative hub that serves clients both locally and internationally. The company also mentors emerging designers, fostering new talent in Bangladesh's creative sector.

"Alhamdulillah, this is a milestone in my journey," Sharif said after receiving the award. "It wouldn't have been possible without my team's hard work and dedication. This award inspires me to push boundaries in Bangladesh's visual communication sector."

Looking ahead, Sharif said he aims to build a global platform for young Bangladeshi designers. "That's the vision driving Graphycity Communications," he added.
