Five more die of dengue, 1,034 hospitalised in a day

At least five dengue patients died while 1,034 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, three were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) areas, while one each from Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Mymensingh division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year rose to 307, while total cases rose to 76,026.

Currently, 3,331 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 2,176 of whom are from outside Dhaka.
