Six more die of dengue, 1,195 hospitalised in a day

At least six dengue patients died while 1,195 others were hospitalised in last 24 hours till 8:00am today.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), among the deaths, two each were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation, Dhaka North City Corporation and Barishal division.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 313, while total cases rose to 78,543.

Currently, 3,337 patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, 2,187 of which are from outside Dhaka.
