India test fires Prithvi-II missile

India yesterday successfully test-fired indigenously developed nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile from a test range at Chandipur in Odisha. India last tested the missile on February 16 this year. Such training launches clearly indicate India's operational readiness to meet any eventuality.
