Liton disappoints in IPL debut

Kolkata Knight Riders batter Liton Das's Indian Premier League debut was short-lived as the right-handed batter fell in only the 12th delivery of the innings against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. 

Liton, who scored a run-a-ball four, started his innings in a majestic manner as he gracefully played a cover drive to begin his IPL career with a boundary. 

The next two deliveries he faced were dots and in the next over, he perished while playing a nothing shot off a short delivery bowled by Mukesh Chowdhury. He seemed to be stuck in two minds and ended up skying the ball which was cupped by the fielder at mid-wicket.
