Bangladesh asked to field first in first warm-up match

Bangladesh were asked to field first by Sri Lanka in their first warm-up fixture of the ICC World Cup at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati today.

The Tigers, however, were without their captain Shakib Al Hasan, and in his place all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraz was present at the toss.   

 Sri Lanka had a solid start so far, 36 for no loss after seven overs.
