Society is now insulting, even killing teachers. Who’s to blame?

News of teachers being humiliated, abused and even killed by their students and other locals have been resurfacing time and time again.

Did the society stoop so low to even disregard, disrespect teachers in general? Are bad practices of politics or the general intolerance -- growing in society -- to be blamed for this?
