Afran Nisho, known for his stellar performances in TV dramas and web films, has now stepped onto the big screen with the film, "Shurongo". His film hit 31 theaters across West Bengal last Friday, marking his debut in the neighboring country.

The blockbuster Eid release, "Shurongo," starring actor Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza, has not only taken the Bangladeshi audience by storm, but has now ventured into West Bengal, India. With the movie being screened in 31 theaters in West Bengal since yesterday, the film's stars and crew are witnessing the wave of appreciation firsthand.

Rafi hinted that he is in talks with Chanchal Chowdhury and might bring Nisho and Chanchal together for his next big screen project.  Fans have been anticipating it could be the same film he hinted with TM films a few days earlier.  

Yesterday, noted film journalist and TV anchor Sharmila Maiti came to Facebook live with Afran Nisho. 

Shahriar Shakil, the film’s producer, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. He is currently in Kolkata, where the movie will premiere later this evening. Raihan Rafi expressed his optimism, hoping that the West Bengal audience will embrace the film as warmly as the audience in Bangladesh has.

Recently, Afran Nisho made a controversial comment about Dhallywood actors Nirab and Emon's personal lives to a renowned media outlet in Kolkata, which ignited a heated discussion within the entertainment industry.

The "Shurongo" team looked super excited engaging in funny banters with popular host Mir Afsar Ali. Afran Nisho, Raihan Rafi and Tama Mirza also enjoyed a hearty brunch with Jaya Ahsan and Srijit Mukherji. 

Raihan Rafi’s “Shurongo” will be releasing in New York and Los Angeles on July 21 and the creators have come up with a creative promotional campaign; featuring its trailer at the famous Times Square of New York. Through this promotional campaign they will be able to reach a global audience.

Ahead of its release in West Bengal, SVF treated the audience with the movie's trailer on July 16. The trailer showcased some magnetic moments and powerful dialogues from the film. 

“One night, one hotel and one number: 16.5. The mystery will be 'elevated' soon!” wrote Hoichoi Bangladesh’s official page, as they shared the first look of Afran Nisho as ‘Reza’, leaving fans questioning what kind of mystery lies ahead in “Sharey Showlo”.

Afran Nisho, who recently made his successful cinematic debut with "Shurongo" during Eid-ul-Azha, is continuing his journey in the limelight as the movie remains houseful at multiplexes. While basking in the success of his debut film, it is reported that Nisho might be signing up for another film directed by Abrar Athar. 

Starting from next week, "Shurongo" will be screened in over 50 theatres across the country.

During the surprise visit, the residents of Bhuapur requested the star to construct a cinema hall for their hometown. Bhuapur once had two cinema halls, however, none remain currently.

It appears that the golden age of cinema is returning once more. Audiences are going to theatres to see Bangla films instead of Hollywood flicks. This Eid-ul-Azha, five notable films were released, capturing people's attention.

The cast and crew of "Shurongo", alongside teams of Chorki and Alpha-i, are also here at Dhaka' premier Cineplex.

Yesterday, the directors of the two films respectively shared the information on their social media page.

Afran Nisho clarified that his recent comment which was interpreted as a criticism to Shakib Khan was misunderstood by the fans. In fact, the actor added that he was referring to himself rather than Shakib Khan.

On Monday, the "Shurongo" actors Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza, director Raihan Rafi, Chorki CEO Redoan Rony and Alpha-i Managing Director Shahriar Shakil addressed several issues regarding the film, including the global release details.

When a journalist teasingly asked him about how he revealed his age. Nisho gave a suggestive comment which implied an indirect dig at another popular actor.
