Bangladesh T20 captain Litton Das believes the upcoming break will help his side recover from a hectic schedule and return stronger for their next assignment against Ireland later this month.

It took two new batters, a reshuffling of the batting line-up, a career-best T20I score from Tanzid Tamim, and Taskin Ahmed hitting a six without walking into his stumps for Bangladesh to finally cross the 150-run mark against the West Indies in their third attempt in the three-match T20I series in Chattogram on Friday.

A dismal batting effort saw Bangladesh lose the second T20I of the three-match series against the West Indies by 14 runs in Chattogram on Wednesday.

Bangladesh eye their fifth straight T20I series win as they face West Indies on October 27, 29, and 31 in Chattogram.

Bangladesh captain Litton Das hoped that his players would get challenged by the West Indies in the upcoming three-match T20I series in Chattogram as it would help them prepare for next year’s ICC T20 World Cup, starting in February in Sri Lanka and India.
