On October 6, 2025 the Moon will appear significantly larger and brighter than usual which is also known as a supermoon, according to a recent blog by NASA, the space agency. This will be the first of three Supermoons to be observed in 2025. 

The Perseid meteor shower peaks on 12–13 August, offering spectacular views across Bangladesh. Best spots include Cox’s Bazar, Saint Martin’s Island, Bandarban, and Sylhet. Minimize light pollution, adjust your eyes, and enjoy brighter meteors despite moonlight interference.

If you missed the peak this year, don't worry - the Perseids will be visible again in July and August of 2024.
