Falling into the comfortable rhythm of a familiar form, it took scant minutes to bang out a silly poem that made me laugh and melted away all the tension, and it took me back to why I created Sehri Tales in the first place.

The Persian poet and Sufi mystic Jalaluddin Rumi, who penned about life, love, growth, gratitude, and the soul, had a profound impact on Islamic mysticism and literature through his works. Rumi's Farsi poetry has survived through the ages because it speaks to people of different backgrounds and perspectives, regardless of how one may feel about the larger purpose behind his writings.
