Singer-actor Tasnia Farin is set to release her new single, “Mon Golbe Na”, on December 4 — a project that reunites her with composer and co-singer Imran Mahmudul and marks her debut as a producer under the banner, Foring Films.

Through her production house, the actress plans to fulfill her directorial vision. “Yes, I have plans to start with short content. I might begin with small projects, but at the end of the day, I have always had this passion to create my own work.”

Tasnia Farin has been finalised as the lead actress in the upcoming film “Prince”, which stars popular Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan in the lead role. However, while Kolkata-based actor Idhika Paul was initially expected to co-star in the project, sources suggest she may no longer be part of the film.

Tasnía Farin has recently spoken out about gender inequality in the entertainment industry during an interview with Anandabazar Patrika. The actress, who was earlier set to star opposite Dev in "Projapoti 2" but could not due to visa complications, has now travelled to Kolkata to discuss a new film with acclaimed filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Chanchal Chowdhury is also expected to feature in the project. This time, however, Farin faced no visa hurdles.

Chanchal said, “It’s not confirmed yet, but discussions are ongoing. There’s a possibility. Hopefully, we’ll work together.”

Expressing her interest in starting a production company, Farin made a Facebook post last Saturday evening, asking her followers to suggest a name for it. Many shared their ideas in the comment section.
