‘Reply 1988’ cast to reunite for its 10th anniversary
The cast of "Reply 1988" will come together for a special reunion programme marking the show's 10th anniversary. The broadcaster announced this on Monday.
The reunion special is scheduled to air on tvN on December 19 at 8:40 pm, featuring the drama's main cast on a one-day, two-night trip.

All seven main cast members—Hyeri, Park Bo-gum, Ryu Jun-yeol, Ko Kyung-pyo, Lee Dong-hwi, Ryu Hye-young and Ahn Jae-hong—will participate. They will be joined by veteran actors Sung Dong-il, Lee Il-hwa and Ra Mi-ran, who portrayed the main characters' parents in the series.
"Reply 1988" originally aired from November 2015 to January 2016. The series, directed by Shin Won-ho and written by Lee Woo-jeong, followed five families living in a single alley in Seoul's Ssangmun-dong neighbourhood during 1988. The drama blended comedy with emotional storytelling, capturing the everyday lives and relationships of the families.
The show achieved remarkable success, with its highest-rated episode reaching 18.8 percent viewership nationwide according to Nielsen Korea. It has remained popular with audiences in the years since its conclusion.
