Two workers are killed when a crane collapses on them at an under-construction building in Rajshahi city.
Two workers were killed when a crane collapsed on them at an under-construction building in Rajshahi city today.
The deceased are Mostafizul Islam, 22, of Thakurmara-Sutahati area of the city, and Babu Miah, 35, of Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district, our Rajshahi correspondent reports quoting police.
The crane fell on them when they were working at the site of the multi-storey building of a technical training centre project at Shah Makhdum around 9:30am, said Zillur Rahman, officer-in-charge of local police station.

Mostafizul died on the spot while Babu succumbed at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around noon, the OC added.
The project is being implemented by a Korean company.
