Copa Bolivia brawl sees 17 sent off
Insanity broke out at a Copa Bolivia match in Oruro on Tuesday as Blooming drew 2-2 with Real Oruro.
Seventeen players and coaches got red-carded, and police even had to use tear gas to calm the situation.
Before both teams got dragged into the madness, Blooming had already booked their spot in the semifinals, courtesy of a 4-3 aggregate score.
About 20 cops rushed in to control the chaos as seven Blooming players, four from Oruro, and both coaching teams were sent off. Blooming's Cesar Menacho was the only one to receive marching order before the final whistle.
Several injuries were reportedly injured on the field, including the Oruro coach.
As per Oruro, the visiting side triggered the ugly scenes using racist insults.
